Client situation

A research-based pharmaceutical company in the area of indications in gastroenterology put its visual patient communication to the test. As an external expert, co.patient was asked to analyse all digital and print media for patient-friendliness, a particular focus being on optimising the visual aspects.

Our solution

Many mistakes can be made in the visual design of patient media: colours that are too cold, wrong testimonials, and motifs that do not touch the patient emotionally. Together with our client, we analysed all patient media and developed numerous suggestions for improvement in a workshop. By involving an expert patient experienced in the indication, we also brought the direct patient view into the project.
