Client situation

Janssen-Cilag contacted us as their website ‘Mein Krebsratgeber’ was going to be relaunched. The aim was to expand the website in order to provide a comprehensive information platform that informs and supports patients and family members in the distressing time after a cancer diagnosis. Janssen-Cilag relied on our expertise in patient communications to identify the relevant content and present it in a patient-friendly and emphatic way.

Our solution

We analysed and optimised the intended structure and navigation of the website in terms of user-friendliness and patient relevance of the topics. We then created patient-friendly texts on the topic of cancer – from purely medical aspects to a wide range of tips on dealing with the disease – and illustrated them with easy-to-understand infographics and carefully selected stock photos.

Thanks to the highly relevant content for patients, the relaunch of the website was a complete success: the website soon had a high number of visitors und became one of the largest and most comprehensive patient platforms of a pharmaceutical company on the topic of cancer in Germany. Janssen-Cilag has thus managed to create added value to patients beyond its medicines and further strengthened its perception as one of the leading companies in terms of patient centricity and patient information.
